  About Us

The doors of the Jubilee Center of Midland opened in 2004. During  our first food pantry, 14 families were provided with food. Today we  serve families every second and fourth Saturday, helping feed  over hundreds of  people each month. Clients can also be served on an  emergency basis between food  pantries.

As a partner agency with the West Texas Food Bank,  we strive to  offer nutritious food and a wide variety of  products for our clients.  Our very own garden provides fresh produce to our clients. We rely on  churches, organizations, and individuals for monetary or food donations  to stock our shelves as well.

The Jubilee Center is thankful for the following Midland churches that have provided financial support, food and numerous  volunteer hours: All Saint's Anglican, Christ's Church Anglican, First Presbyterian, Holy Cross Lutheran, Renew Life Church, St. Nicholas Episcopal, The Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity, and Unitarian Universalist.

Jubilee Center Latest News!

The Jubilee Center of Midland continues its mission through the summer months. In spite of the pandemic, our mission to feed the poor continues. Myranda Pachelhofer is running the day to day operations of the center, assisted by Michael Jordan, Linda Jordan, Bert Bostic and Karl Brewer. So far, we have conducted a  food pantry on June 27 and July 11. On June 27th we  delivered food to 118 families: 460 individuals. Nineteen people stopped by the center to receive food between June 27 and July 11. On July 11, we served 109 families: The West Texas Food Bank is providing ample amounts of food for our pantries. We actually have more food than ever, so we won’t be needing food  donations during this pandemic. However, we still welcome   financial donations, so don’t hesitate to help us out financially. We’re conducting “drive-through” food pantries during the pandemic, and we hope to resume our normal client choice operations in the future, but the date is yet to be determined.  Holy Trinity has provided us with some  wonderful volunteers. We are very thankful for Bert Bostic, Johnnye Montgomery, Ross Webster, and Sylvia Shepherd. Bert has done a great job as one of our board members. Johnnie and Sylvia have been great helping us in our garden      behind the Jubilee Center building. Ross does a wonderful job mowing our lawn.  We are also looking for volunteers to help us with food pantries on September 12 and 26.Volunteers must be between the ages of 20 and 59  during the pandemic.

We provide PPE, snacks, water and ice. We open at 9 and shut down at 11:30 each pantry        Saturday. Everyone works hard and has an incredibly

enjoyable experience.

Thanks so much for your support of our mission at the Jubilee Center of Midland!

Altar Flowers

Donation for Altar Flowers

Many people have special days in the year which they commemorate. Flowers on the altar of Holy Trinity can fittingly mark the anniversary of a birth, baptism, confirmation, marriage or death, or may be used as an expression of joy of thanksgiving at any time. When flowers are given a special announcement is printed in the Sunday bulletin.

Anyone may give flowers at Holy Trinity for any Sunday desired. If more than one gift is received for a Sunday, the additional money is placed in the general Flower Fund. After Sunday services, flowers from the altar are given at the discretion of the clergy to sick or shut-in members of the parish.

Currently, the suggested donation for Altar Flowers is $100 ($50 for Easter).

Christmas and Easter gifts are used for the flowers and plants which decorate our church on those festivals.

(Please remember that there are no flowers on the altar during Lent.)

If you would like to make an online donation for flowers on a particular Sunday, and/or for Christmas, Easter, or the Thanksgiving Day services, please contact the Parish Office 432.683.4207.
